Government Of Canada/Cbie Scholarship Program

Overview

The Government of Canada, through the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) is seeking applications from Canadian publicly funded institutions for the 2012-2013 Students' Exchange Program:

• Canada-CARICOM Leadership Scholarships
• Canadian Commonwealth Scholarships
• Emerging Leaders inward the Americas
• Canada-Chile Leadership Scholarships

General Eligibility Criteria

• These awards are available to international students to undertake query or written report at UBC for a menstruum of iv to half-dozen months.  
• Students must hold upwardly citizens of eligible countries (please cite to scholarship details). 
• All awards are available to graduate in addition to undergraduate students for written report or query activity except the Canadian Commonwealth Scholarships, which are available exclusively to graduate students.
• Students coming to undertake course of didactics move must hold upwardly from UBC pupil mobility partner institutions. For a listing of UBC mobility partners, delight see the list of partner universities
• Students coming to undertake query must hold upwardly from institutions amongst which UBC has established query activity.

Application Process

All applications must hold upwardly submitted past times UBC straight on behalf of the student. Applications submitted straight past times the pupil or domicile establishment volition non hold upwardly accepted past times CBIE.  Go Global plays a coordinating exercise on all applications submitted on behalf of the University.
